Terms & Conditions – Rifugio Des Alpes

Please read the booking rules below carefully. Each booking, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to the current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for the person making the reservation and for all other subjects mentioned in it.

BOOKING

You can send a request for availability from our site or by mail and wait for our response. Alternatively, you can make a reservation online by following the instructions available on our website: https://www.rifugiodesalpes.it/.

You will receive an (non-binding) offer following your request. The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication reporting the total price of the stay and after the deposit, to be made within 7 days from our confirmation.

If payment is not made within the indicated time, the reservation will be automatically cancelled (unless otherwise agreed).

The reservation becomes binding for RIFUGIO DES ALPES only at the time of crediting the deposit on the current account if paid by bank transfer or after the debit of the deposit on the credit card, prior written authorization from the customer (for data processing see privacy policy).

At this point RIFUGIO DES ALPES will send the customer a final confirmation email or a summary voucher to be presented at check-in. The confirmation of your reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the data in the above confirmation and to inform us as soon as possible of any anomaly. The communication must be received within 4 days of receipt. After this deadline we disclaim any responsibility for any misstatements.

To make changes to the reservation you must contact RIFUGIO DES ALPES, that you will do your best to comply with the request. However, we cannot guarantee compliance with such a request. In case of a booking change in a period where the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is responsible for paying the difference.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation of a reservation must be communicated in writing to info@rifugiodesalpes.it and will be the unchallengeable right of RIFUGIO DES ALPES accept or not, subject to any penalties as specified in the following paragraphs.

CANCELLATION OF STAYS WITH “STANDARD RATE”

In case of cancellations the deposit will be retained. In case of early departure, the guest is required to pay the total amount provided in the booking confirmation, excluding meals that will not be taken.

CANCELLATION OF STAYS WITH “NON-REFUNDABLE RATE”

The total amount of the reservation will be charged at the time of booking and there are no refunds or returns in case of change, cancellation or no-show. No refund is due in case of early departure. In case of early departure, the guest is required to pay the total amount provided in the booking confirmation, excluding meals that will not be taken.

CANCELLATION OF “PACKAGE”

No refund or return, regardless of the time notice, in the case of purchasing a “STAY PACKAGE”, then combined with external services such as equipment rental, outings with mountain guide, guided tours and where third parties and/ or external material are involved in RIFUGIO DES ALPES.
No refund is due in case of early departure. In case of early departure, the guest is required to pay the total amount provided in the booking confirmation, excluding meals that will not be taken.

NO SHOW

In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained and RIFUGIO DES ALPES reserves the right to charge the full amount due. No refund is due in case of early departure.

PAYMENT

Payment methods accepted: bank transfer (advance from arrival date) and credit card, cash.
The balance of the reservation must be paid upon departure.

Any extras must be paid before departure.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ONE’S CONTROL

The management disclaims any responsibility for malfunctions due to non-delivery, accidental equipment failures or other causes of force majeure. We disclaim all liability for damages caused by other guests, weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and theft.
